Needle-free Acupuncture
Yes! You read that correctly. Needle-free acupuncture. While the word Acu-puncture implies the use of needles puncturing the body, it is not necessarily the only option for treatment. The strength of Traditional Chinese Medicine is in its philosophy on how the body functions as a whole and how the energy pathways are viewed and used to identify and treat patterns of disharmony. The patterns are then treated by stimulating the body at carefully chosen Acu-points, specific points on the body that achieve specific reactions. Stimulating these points can take many forms, historically applying manual pressure to the point (Acu-pressure), applying a cup (cupping therapy) or massaging the area (TuiNa) were used. With the discovery of electricity and our technological advancement, I am pleased to offer modern therapy options of Vibration Therapy and Micro-Current Technology, all of which are on the surface of the skin (no needles!) and very effective.
Cupping TherapyTraditional Chinese Medicine Cupping Therapy is an ancient yet effective treatment method used to release muscle tension, increase blood and lymphatic flow, and strengthen the immune system.
You've surely seen the cupping marks on Olympic athletes! |
Vibration TherapyVibration Therapy delivers a high-frequency/low-amplitude vibration to ease pain and move energy (qi) quickly and easily.

Micro-current technologyMicro-current technology is the application of a tiny electrical current (micro-current) to the Acu-point on the ear or the body to move and strengthen the energy, thereby calming the nervous system, reducing pain, strengthening organ functions etc.
